Course Objectives
Students will:
create and perform a script spontaneously based on information provided
analyze and portray a scripted character for motivation, movement, and communication patterns
design and present a complete scene without words based on an instrumental piece of music
demonstrate vocal mastery by creating and performing a scene for radio
work as a team to create a performance for the general public
explain how theatre can be used as a community communication medium
Grading Policy
The grading of the course will consist of the cumulative points earned for various activities. These activities include
performance of improvisation show
performance of one-act festival
performance of improv show
performance of main stage show
performance of voiceover project
written and oral evaluations of performance
quizzes and tests
other activities as needed
